step2 : Choice of Alloy
Alloys should be chosen on their suitability for a particular application. Consideration should be given to the component design, the parent metals, the brazing process, and the economics of the job.
The brazing alloys that are easiest to use are the high silver, free flowing alloys with low melting ranges. Alloys with higher brazing temperatures and longer melting ranges are more difficult to use.
